UNDERSTANDING CONTRADICTORY PROPHECY

Lightbearers MinistriesUncategorized

Dear Ones,

Let me give praise to God that forty eight years ago today I got filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues for the first time!

Here is the testimony from a day at a Holy Spirit Encounter (Holy Spirit seminar) that we just did in Kabale, Uganda in November. We will, Lord willing, have one here in Oregon March 22-28,2020. If you are interested in being a part of it – we only have eighteen spaces – or just want to know more about it, please write to Yahna at admin@lightbearers-ministries.com. Collins Ogiki and Frank Michael Tweheyo will be here as instructors and participants in March!

Everyone is encouraged to wake up early in the morning to seek the Lord. Margret Kizza shares at our breakfast devotion

The spirit of God gave her the word “cast” Cast your burdens upon the lord. As she spoke she exercised what Kevin taught in his audio teaching on the spirit of revelation. Here are some magnificent revelations that she share with us about Jesus

She said Jesus is going before you every you. Jesus has already walked to the end of your destiny and back. He knows the way. Now he is coming back to pick you and lead you because he has walked the journey of the destiny of your life. We must surrender and cast our cares upon him.

Here is the second revelation that she received. We have held on to our load and burden, I see so many people on a truck with bags of potatoes on their heads, they are carrying their loads on the truck and not laying them down that the truck may carry it for them and hold the load.

After this we went into a great prayer time deep intercession and the laying down of burdens. Then Collins came in and shared,

I SAW A VISION AND IN THIS VISION JESUS WAS STANDING THERE WITH HIS ARMS OPEN IN A PLACE FULL OF GREAT LIGHT. THE SPIRIT OF GOD SAID COME TO THE PLACE OF SURRENDER AND MEET ME THERE!

As I spoke this word the atmosphere shifted and the fragrance of God’s love poured like wine began to flow in the atmosphere, people were getting healed by breathing the air in the atmosphere, the aroma of God’s anointing was like a sweet smelling spice, some of the students got delivered by faith like Pastor Aida was healed because of the presence and faith in the atmosphere.

One of the students Pastor Frank Wayu received revelation about God deleting our junk files and inputing new files and softwares in our hearts.

Frank led deliverance and at this point it became so easy, we broke demonic strongholds, cast out spirits of death, hopelessness, shame, depression, sickness and disease left. Praise God. The atmosphere was so filled with the spirit you could smell the thick presence of God.

After deliverance we sent the students to rest and regrouped at lunch time. The freshness of joy and freedom came upon their faces.

Frank shared about prophetic Evangelism and lays perfect foundation stones for the word to come through Collins. Then we sent the students out to go find their people.

This evening they came back with great stories of miracles and healings with the best part of it having 21 people accept Jesus as their lord and Savior. Halellujah, Most of the students found their people.

Charlse one of the students ministered to healing to a lady on the streets who had Athritis, she left feeling far better than she was before.

Apostle Kizza received prophetic revelation as he evangelised on the streets, he ministered to drug addicts who accepted Jesus. Praise God!

Tonight we kept it fun and light we have the students ample time to get some good sleep since they have pushing really fervently.

May God bless you

Collins😍

UNDERSTANDING CONTRADICTORY PROPHECY

For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 1 Cor 13:9 NKJV

Prophecy is perhaps, with all due respect to the gift of discerning of spirits, the most difficult gift of the Spirit to master. It is so deceptive in its simplicity that almost everyone it seems undervalues its importance and underappreciates its significance. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Think about that for a second! Knowing that that statement is true, and that all communicative forms are inherently prophetic, we should stop to consider this great gift, and to see how to operate it most perfectly.

Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying…Jer 1:4 NKJV

This is the time of the year when there is much prophecy going forth about the coming year, and in this case the coming decade. So, it is vitally important that we consider the nature of prophecy, how it is to operate, and as we get into this article, to consider how to deal with conflicting prophecies when we sense that both are from God.

The Greek word PROPHETEIA has as its root the word PHEMI, meaning to speak. With the prefix PROS, meaning out, the word PROPHETEIA means to speak out. Literally, everything spoken, everything written, everything communicated through pictures, music or any other art form, is prophecy. How important is that? Remember…death and life. I sit in my office almost every morning, working and praying, before the sun comes up. When I see the first soft rays of sunlight through my east facing windows it is a testimony to me of the faithfulness of God. The heavens declare or prophesy the glory of God. Literally, true prophecy, the fulfilled word, is coming through my windows. You get it?

Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. 1 Cor 14:39  NKJV

Recently, I was practicing golf, when my instructor told me he was going to Pinehurst to compete in a tournament. I said, “Go win a big trophy!” The next week, I come in to the pro shop and a big trophy is sitting on the desk. “What’s this?” I say. He says, with a smile, “Somebody told me to go win a big trophy, so I did!” Prophecy. How come the golf instructor gets it, but the Church doesn’t? Hmm….

…If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God…1 Peter 4:11 NKJV

Prophecy is the sixth gift listed in 1 Corinthians 12. Six is the number of imperfection, the number of man. Man was created on the sixth day, and man is to work six days. Six plus one, representing one God, makes a perfect set of seven. Thus, man and God must be one for man to be perfect. Prophecy is the gift that is fraught with the imperfections of man. So, the great characteristic of all that you see, all that you hear, all that you experience in all forms of communication including the one you are reading now is that it must be judged. As Thomas Charlton said, the price of liberty is eternal vigilance!

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. James 3:17-18 NKJV

Where does the communication, the prophecy, come from? All things communicated come from one of three sources, which can be mixed: the spirit of God, the spirit of man or an evil spirit. Now, you learn to discern the counterfeit by fully understanding the genuine. To understand what is really from God lets briefly go through these characteristics:

PURE: Grk. HAGIOS – from the root of HAGOS, from which we also get the word HAGION. Guess who the Holy Spirit is? He is the PNEUMA HAGION. Get this…communication from God reflects the very nature of God which is HOLY. Simply put, if it isn’t holy, it isn’t from God.

PEACEABLE: Grk. EIRENIKOS – root: NIKE, victory – the peace that comes after the unconditional surrender of an enemy. The wisdom from above brings in the authority and power to end conflicts, to be a peacemaker, in such a way that everyone benefits, that there are no true losers. If what you are hearing, seeing, and experiencing leaves you feeling as a ‘loser’ it is not from God.

GENTLE: Grk. EPIEIKES, from root EIKO, to resemble – Jesus, who is fully God, is also fully man, so that He can speak to us from a position of understanding our circumstances, of feeling what we have felt, of knowing what we are going through. The devil on the other hand is rough, abrasive, corrosive, without conscious sense of feeling, sociopathic, remorseless. If it isn’t gentle…reject it, even if you esteem the person or thing from which it is coming.

WILLING TO YIELD: Grk. EUPEITHES, root PEITHO, to convince or persuade. The Holy Spirit doesn’t control, but He is very appealing, very persuasive, and loves to befriend us. I have a brother who moved a lot as a child and, being a bright fellow, learned to make friends quickly with laughter and humor. When men laugh together, they get bonded very quickly. True prophecy so many times will make you laugh with delight!

FULL OF MERCY AND GOOD FRUITS – Sometimes fruit is instantly evident but not long lasting. Good fruit may not be instantly evident but will be long lasting. So, WATCH over the prophecy. Mercy is giving one what they don’t deserve, rendering evil empty, null and void with overwhelming good.

WITHOUT PARTIALITY – Grk. ADIAKRITOS, literally, without thorough judgment, root KRINO, to judge – God perceives us as having intrinsic value while the world looks for utilitarian value. Intrinsic value is the inherent value we have because of who we are, while utilitarian value is what we have because of what we can produce. The world says, if you can’t produce for me, you have no value to me. This is the justification behind abortion, ‘assisted suicide,’ murder and genocide. True prophecy recognizes you as being important just because you are you…

WITHOUT HYPOCRISY – Grk. ANUPOKRITOS, without putting on a mask. – The great challenge of character is to be in private what you profess to be in public, to be genuine. The nature of true prophecy is that it is, within its context and limitations, completely trustworthy.

Use these criteria to judge what you see, hear and experience – literally everything that comes to you, for it is all prophetic. Receive what’s from God. Ignore what’s from man. Reject what’s from hell.

With these criteria fully in hand we are ready to discuss what to do when we get apparently contradictory prophecy. The simple principle is that we know in part and we prophesy in part. One prophecy may speak into a certain part of our lives while another may speak to another part. Treat each prophecy as if it stands on its own. If in one prophecy you are called to repent, then within that context, repent. If in another prophecy you are called to rejoice, then rejoice. Praising and grieving are not contradictory, because while we may have occasion to grieve we always have occasion to rejoice. Do you see it?

Each droplet of prophecy that’s truly from God will fit into a larger pattern that will be clear and consistent. It’s amazing how many people have prophesied into my life the same things without any knowledge of what was spoken beforehand. This speaks highly to the source of the words being from God, and for God’s purposes to be clearly established in my life. He will do the same thing for you!

Remember to judge everything you see, hear, feel and experience by the criteria set forth in James, and reject everything that doesn’t fit that criteria. Receive, what does. Your faith will get built, and you will walk into the plan of God for your life. Love you!

Remember dear ones, we must be about our Father’s business…
