In Your presence is fullness of joy…Psalms 16:11 NKJV

Victory is the keynote theme of Heaven. Joy is the continuous
celebration of the absolute triumph of the will of God. No word of God
has ever or will ever fail. No scheme of the enemy or failure in the
will and character of man can overcome or deny the will of God. In the
present, and ultimately in the end, all will be fulfilled for those
who belong to Him. When victory dwells in your heart, in spite of
circumstances, you will rejoice in the Lord, and have joy in the God
of your salvation.

Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though
the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though
the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the
stalls —  Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my
salvation. Habakkuk 3:17-18 NKJV

In spite of circumstances, Habakkuk still has victory in his soul. My
brother Denny Cline says that you have two choices in life – you can
choose to complain through life, or you can choose to praise through
life. Job, through all of his torturous circumstances, said, “Though
He slay me, yet will I trust Him ( Job 13:15 ).” Habakkuk, Denny and
Job all have one thing in common – they have that keynote sense of
victory in their souls.

The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
and He will make me walk on my high hills. Habakkuk 3:19 NKJV

Where does that keynote sense of victory come from?

And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second
prophets, third teachers, after that miracles…1 Corinthians 12:28 NKJV

Every born again one can do miracles, but not every one has a real
miracle working ministry. Every miracle working ministry that I have
known personally and observed has had three basic characteristics –
prayer, fasting and joy. These three elements combine to release the
miracle working power of God. Let me explain…

…that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be
strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, Ephesians
3:16 NKJV

When you pray in tongues, your spirit man is strengthened with might
by the Holy Spirit. This strengthening enables you to carry a greater
measure of the glory of God. More glory equals more results, more
miracles!

I humbled myself with fasting; Psalms 35:13 NKJV

True, heartfelt humility positions you under the favor of Heaven.
Fasting brings you to that place of humility. The Lord says, “I dwell
in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble
spirit… (Isaiah 57:15 )” Miracle working ministries fast often to stay
in that place where God pours out His glory. If they didn’t, the
miracles would vaunt them into a place of pride which would shut down
the glory.

One man of God told me that his wife fasts and prays every other day
for the power of God in their ministries. Others do yearly forty day
fasts to prepare their hearts before the Lord. One man of God
indicated he had done cumulatively several years worth of fasting in
forty years of ministry. The miracles that follow these ministries are
astounding…

In Your presence is fullness of joy…Psalms 16:11 NKJV

The secret of joy is the secret of victory. The joy comes during the
times of prayer and fasting when the Lord implants the gift of faith
by revelation in the spirit of man. The believer then has the victory
before they ever enter the battle. The inner fountain of joy flows out
of a heart filled with the faith of God. The faith of God is the
earth-shaking, mountain moving power that flows through the veins of
the born again one like liquid fire, causing explosions of praise,
rejoicing and miracles. In His presence, in the place where God comes
down in power, might and blessing, is fullness of joy!

…the joy of the Lord is your strength… Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV

You and I can have this joy, bless God forever. Demons will seek to
hinder and obstruct you from reaching the place of joy, the place of
victory. You must deal with them. Tell them they must go! Confess your
sins as needed, forgive from your heart as needed, and ask God to show
you what demons you are dealing with. As He reveals them in your
spirit, command them to go in Jesus’ name! Anxiety, fear, frustration,
depression, anger, jealousy, stupidity and whatever else must go! A
major reason dear ones don’t get answers to prayer is because they
never deal with the demonic obstructions in their way. Joy is there,
but it is just on the other side of deliverance…

…you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek
Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29 NKJV

Joy, true joy, comes from God alone. What the world calls joy is
merely a temporary state of happiness due to happy circumstances. Joy
is the sense of the victory of Heaven, the tumultuous celebration of
the absolute triumph of the will of God. We have that joy within us!
Christ is in us. He is the embodiment of the fulfilled Word, the Joy
of our hearts and lives. Because He lives within you, you can
experience the incredible power of joy!
