The idea of writing about the subject of SAVING AMERICA has been in my heart for several weeks now. I didn’t get a chance to write last week because we were still traveling after the Nashville Roundtable. Then the events of this week happened, and I realized I had to get this word out. Please forward it to all your friends and loved ones. In the preface here I’ve included a note I wrote to our intercessor team this morning, the greatest prayer warriors anywhere, but I wanted to include it to you because YOU are just like THEM! KRP

It’s rare that I comment on current events in these encouragements to prayer but I cannot miss the significance of what is going on around us. The unprecedented and criminal leak of the draft of the Supreme Court decision regarding ‘Roe vs. Wade’ and the release of the movie 2000 MULES are like twin rocks hitting the pond of this nation and the world. 2000 MULES proves unequivocally that the 2020 Presidential election in the USA was stolen by a criminal conspiracy that has tentacles all the way through the American government. The leak of the draft seems timed to the release of the movie and gives the murderous (when did your life begin? Conception) democrats a ’cause’ to fight for in the midterm elections.

Here’s what to do – first off, don’t get wild and emotional, but quietly and righteously angry (so much is at stake here!). Secondly, after praise and worship sit before the Lord and present both situations to Him, seeking His will without agenda. Once you receive His word, decree it forcefully and fully, and pray until its manifested. The affairs of men are ruled and overruled from above, and ‘history belongs to the intercessors.’ Your prayer, your choices to pray and pray fully through to the answer, make all the difference.

Last night in the theater, at the private screening of 2000 MULES, RM and I happened to sit with Jo Rae Perkins, a member of our church who is running for the US Senate, and I got sent a testimony through a text from one of you about how I prayed for a baby who was dying eighteen years ago, and the baby lived (they shared a picture of the young man). As I considered the prophetic significance and timing of that sharing, I realized that the baby called AMERICA is deathly sick, but if we pray now, she will live…

SAVING AMERICA

But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord… Luke 1:13-15 NKJV

What makes a man or woman’s life great? Some would say it’s the ability to overcome. No, sorry. Perhaps I should clarify the question to say, what makes a man or woman’s life great IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD? What makes someone great in the sight of the Lord is the demonstration of being able to believe what you have heard from Him. The ability and willingness to hear God, and then believe and do what He says out of an obedient heart of love, obeying until His will is consummated – that is a man or woman who is great in the eyes of the Lord.

Back in 2013 the Lord began to direct my heart back to His plans and purposes for America. We still continued our work in Africa, the continent of light – probably more people are really born again in sub-Saharan Africa than any other piece of real estate on earth – but more and more the Lord called me to help raise up a new front for our team here at home, in America. Late in 2015 the Lord told me to go to seven cities a year for three years and look for the man of peace to start house churches. The Lord said that Carl would go with me. Together we walked and prayed and witnessed and had fun in over fifty cities across the fruited plain…and met some truly wonderful folks.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations… Matt 28:19 NKJV

What does saving America look like in a broad-brush stroke? Influence is leadership. The renewing of American culture would mean the ascendancy of a biblical worldview in all the realms of power and influence in America. Is there a biblical mandate for such activity? Our own Matthew 28:19. The word ‘nations’ is the Greek word ETHNOS, meaning ‘people groups,’ people centered around at least one particular element or focus. A neighborhood could be a people group, or the employees of a company. A family is probably the least common denominator of a people group. An ETHNOS could be a literal nation, a state, a city, a basketball team, a Facebook group – anyone or thing with a common central point. Do you see it?

What does it mean to disciple a people group?

To make a disciple is the Greek word MATHETEUO, which means to train as a student. To teach and train someone you must have a curriculum, and then you must gain the willingness, desire and respect of the student, and maintain that standing. To have a curriculum you yourself must continually be a student, continuously learning and improving your skills, knowledge and application – as you grow, your students will grow. Lazy people can’t be effective teachers, or disciplers. You have to be ‘into’ this process and be willing to make sacrifices for it…but that’s what love is all about, right?

Jesus said, “GO and MAKE,” correct? You go and you make. But it starts with asking the Lord to give you that people group. ‘Give me Scotland, or I die’ was the prayer of John Knox, and indeed, God gave him Scotland in a great revival. Interestingly, it’s said of the devout Catholic Mary, Queen of Scots, that ‘I fear the prayers of John Knox more than all the assembled armies of Europe.’ Now that’s a reputation in prayer akin to Elijah’s! There is an intimate tie in prayer, there’s authority released because of the love poured into prayer. Recently the Lord told me He had given me certain dear ones I believe because I have loved them. Discipling begins with love and prayer from the discipler…

Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ Isa 58:8-9 NKJV

The principles of saving America, essentially the discipling of the nation, begins with influence and multiplication. Influence with God because you pray like John Knox will echo out into influence in the world. You will gain a reputation that will permeate your sphere of influence. Everywhere you go, even in the smallest transactions, pray that your life and love will have influence and impact on those around you. The Lord will crown you with an anointing that leaves wholeness and health, joy and light in your wake. As you begin to influence others, bring them together in some small gathering with food and fellowship, and begin to impart to them the ways of God. Pray for influence with God and the world and multiplication, by raising up and inspiring others, and we will see God do a great work in this land. Amen? Love you!
