PEACE AND REVELATION 

Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed. Mark 1:35 NKJV 

Revelation is easily received by those who are quiet within themselves. Anxiety, frustration, condemnation, regret, and fear so shake the souls of men that they are unable to receive what God is communicating to their spirits. The soul must become quiet, undisturbed and serene, so as to be able to sense and receive the communication from Heaven. 

For most people, it would seem that peace is that numb period in between conflicts, confrontations, and disasters. But for the believer in Jesus, peace is the absolute end of all strife and trouble in their hearts and souls. It is that place of quiet assurance where the Lord says that nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, that you are more than a conqueror in Him, and that He will never, never leave you, and never, never, never forsake you. 

Peace begins in your assurance of your relationship with Him. 

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ… Rom 5:1 NKJV 

Speaking in tongues is the practical, tangible assurance that the Holy Spirit dwells in you and that you have peace with God. Hallelujah! I have peace with Him! I am accepted in His presence, and beloved as a child of my God. If you would deeply dwell on the truths of your relationship with the Father through the Son, peace would fill your soul and confidence for a fruitful living would spring up within you. This confidence and assurance release faith to receive revelation. Romans and Ephesians deal deeply with who we are in Christ. 

Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts. Jer 15:16 NKJV 

Dig deeply into the Word of life to find out who you are in Christ, and those truths will push out all the fears and worries that keep you from hearing from Him. Read and pray…read and pray…until the sweet presence of God washes your soul from all that is not of Him. Then you will be able to receive His precise instruction and live a more abundant life.
