Dear Ones,

Joyeux Noel! Merry Christmas!

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 

In Isaiah, a book I have promised myself I will study soon, you see the two comings of the Lord. The first was of lowly birth, most likely in a home in Bethlehem as my friend Tim points out, and the second coming as the King to reign in Jerusalem over the whole world for a thousand years, and for all time!

Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Isa 9:6-7 NKJV

As we honor the Lord and remember His first coming, we want to keep in mind that this is a time of great HOPE, that just as He faithfully came the first time He will come again the second, in glory and honor and blessing. We belong to Him! And as He reigns, so will we under Him. Don’t look around…look up, dear one, your hope and redemption draws nigh!
