And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all. Matt 12:15 NKJV

Healing is what is supposed to happen. It is a normal part of every Christian’s life. You follow Him, and He heals you. Spirit, soul and body – He heals you. I expect to see His hand every time I pray for someone, and every time I need it, as well.

“…they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:18 NKJV

The art of ministering healing is in helping people connect with the living God. Whenever someone connects with the living God, they get healed, they get prayers answered, they see miracles, they live. God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. God is life, and the life is the light of men. Jesus is the true Light and the life of men. People follow Him, and they get healed.

Jesus can give you gifts of healing to give to others. The real art in ministering healing is in knowing specifically, at that moment, first of all, how to help that individual, or that congregation, or that multitude connect with the living God. Then, it is in having the courage to carry out what you know in your heart to say and do.

The secret of knowing is in asking and waiting until you hear from Him. Sometimes, you don’t have to ask, you just know. You and the Lord are teamed together to help that individual receive the fullness of the will of God. Teammates! You and the Lord Jesus! You two are working together to bring the will of God down from Heaven to earth. When you realize that it is you and He together, with His hand over the top of yours, you are going to touch people and see miracles.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Gal 5:6 NKJV

Love energizes faith, and faith operates by commands or decrees. You have authority over that weakness or disease. Command it to be destroyed in the name of Jesus. Decree light and life where the shadow of death has moved in. Bring back the sunshine in the valley of the shadow of death. You are a light bearer!

You don’t need to go anywhere to get your healing…you simply need to make the connection! And, when you get healed, help others to make the connection as well. Glory to Jesus Christ! Expect healing to come. For those who follow Him, healing is normal…
