Thank you for your continued support of Lightbearers Ministries!
This month we have a cause of great rejoicing that 1470 students in our schools of ministry in Kenya will graduate from our six-month program! They have graded successfully in our thirteen courses, getting ten to twenty classroom hours of training in each course, been filled with the Spirit, and trained in all the gifts. They graduate on the 22nd of July. They are the fruit of fifty+ schools, teachers and directors.
Now, we have a challenge in that we need $7000 extra dollars to come in this month to cover the cost of their certificates, their graduation, all of our administrative work and the blessing – $50 – that we give to each director at the graduation of their school. The blessing to the directors is not a wage. Each school produces about 195 hours of teaching time to graduate each group, plus the teacher’s preparation and administration duties (grade and attendance keeping, communicating with Lightbearers, etc.). Just for teaching time alone it would work out to $.25 an hour: so, it’s really done out of love, and we give the blessing out of love.
Can you help us meet this extra challenge? For our regular monthly givers this would be in addition to what you give monthly, if you can, please. 1470 newly empowered and trained saints! Please help us make this time for them the greatest possible blessing!
