One of the purposes of the gift of a word of wisdom is to release creative ideas, creative solutions. There is an answer that brings glory to God and fulfills His promises regarding every problem, large or small, that you and I face. To receive that answer, you must believe that it is God’s will to give you the answer, and you must be willing to consider ideas that are ‘outside’ of your normal way of doing things. To receive you must be humble, flexible and peaceful.

Then He came to Bethsaida, and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him.  Therefore, He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. Mark 8:22‑25 NKJV

Peace is the essential element in receiving revelation. When you are traveling, it is better to pay more to stay in a quiet place without distraction if possible, because there are things more valuable than money. Peace comes from allowing the Holy Spirit’s presence to gain ascendency

(I don’t like the word ‘control’ because it implies realities that are not scriptural) in your heart, your mind and total being. Praying much in tongues will bring peace. Filling your heart with the Word of God will bring peace. When you have peace, God can release creative ideas and solutions to your questions and problems.

Dear pastor, if you teach your people to receive revelation, they won’t burden you with their questions and problems, and they will see miracles. The church will grow, society will change and life will get better and better…

Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup that I may drink.” And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.” So she said, “As the LORD your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.” And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me, and afterward make some for yourself and your son. For thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the LORD sends rain on the earth.’ “So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah, and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the LORD, which He spoke by Elijah. 1 Kings 17:8‑16 NKJV
