“Please be praying over our fundraising drive to have the down payment for a home for Lightbearers in the coming generation! Currently we are at $14,420, which is 41% of our goal of $35,000. Please call in that other 59%!
So many ministries have died at the end of the 1st generation, some by the will of God, and some not! We believe Lightbearers is to be a transgenerational apostolic teaching/church planting ministry, especially in the field of the Holy Spirit. It’s amazing how little solid teaching of the gifts of the Spirit is out there. What we have substituted is ‘experiential’ teaching, where people go out and do stuff and don’t have any idea what they are doing, which CAN be good (I do it myself, and Jesus did it with the twelve and the seventy), but doesn’t really lay the foundation for when the storms come, which Jesus promised would happen.
So, there is a huge need for a Lightbearers ministry, or something like it. It takes YEARS AND YEARS to get ‘good’ (humbled, deep and growing) at the gifts of the Spirit, and then, if you don’t communicate it to others, and start them off at a higher level than you started, it just dies with you. (The building of the Temple was just as much about David’s faith as it was about Solomon’s – transgenerational faith).
As far as I can tell, this is what happened with Parham, Seymour, Wigglesworth and so many others. The guys who did it well, and passed it on to future generations, were Prince, Hagin, A.L. Gill (he’s still doing it), to some degree Oral Roberts, and the guy who did it amazingly well, but not in the Holy Spirit field was Billy Graham. I love and honor ALL of these men, and I seek to learn from them everything I can. Just as an aside, I would hold our beloved Drs. Jack and Grace Tuls with these mighty ones that I have mentioned!
So…please pray! Everything begins and ends with prayer. It’s amazing to me how God will wait for you to ask before He gives something to you, so freely, easily and wonderfully. So, please ask with us. I believe that so many will rise up in Heaven some day and thank you that you prayed. I know I will…”
