Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Hab 2:2-3 NKJV
On this first weekend of 2026, I want to outline three visions we are pursuing in Lightbearers. I say these things not to vaunt ourselves in any way, but to lay before God’s people the purpose and the vision God has set in our hearts for the coming days to increase their faith and the blessing of all people. There are three visions and I will go through the specifics of each, and invite your comments, insights and participation. The first is well underway, the second is in the formative stages and the third is ‘yet for an appointed time.’
THE FIRST VISION – SCHOOLS IN EVERY NATION
In 1998, my life was changed forever in meeting Dr. Jack Tuls. He was a visionary leader, twenty years my senior, and he had started a school of ministry in the remote areas of Myanmar in 1990, using a curriculum developed by his friend Dr. A.L. Gill, which taught and imparted the kingdom of God. He was trying to plant schools in Africa, so we joined forces. In January of 2001, we planted our first school in Ndele, Central African Republic with a french missionary named Claude Pettman. It was a monthlong adventure, with me teaching the Holy Spirit Seminar as the first class to I think twelve students from across the CAR. What Holy Ghost fun! In all Jack and I made nine trips to Africa to plant schools. On one trip to Niger in 2009, we concluded that all schools in Africa would be under Lightbearers Ministries authority, and not directly under Jack, although he was always a major part of our decision-making process with regards to the schools. The Reverend Regenna Greenleaf became the international director of our schools in 2009.
In 2019, bishop Christophe Dewanou from Benin and I travelled to Europe to begin planting schools there, where we met the Reverend Dr. Helene Dang in Paris, who started our school in Paris and became the international director of our schools in francophone countries. Helene and Regenna still carry on in their roles today. We have had hundreds of schools in Africa and other countries and well over twenty thousand graduates.
Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.” Acts 9:10 NKJV
In 2020, while praying up at Silver Falls State Park in Oregon, the Lord ‘upped the ante’ on the vision for the schools. As I prayed, “Lord, fill every nation in Africa and Europe with at least one school of ministry…” He said, “Why not every nation, period?” That changed everything. We were going to every nation, all one hundred ninety-five, with a school of ministry, period. Then COVID hit, with its monstrous and cruel lockdowns, and it set us back personally, but not the spread of the schools. In Kenya David planted over one hundred schools with thousands of graduates during that time. Finally in November of 2024, I pulled together our top leaders from the USA, Africa and Europe, plus our friends Joe and Maureen, for a conclave at Prayer Mountain in Jinja, Uganda, overlooking the beautiful source of the Nile on Lake Victoria. As we were meeting, the Lord woke me at 330am and said, “I want them to cover Africa in 2025, Europe in 2026, Russia and the Middle East in 2027, South America in 2028, North America in 2029, and China and the Far East in 2030.” Our people accepted the challenge, and in a conclave without my attendance, selected a chairman and an executive board. They have worked on the problem in Africa in 2025, learned many lessons, saw much progress, and now are starting into Europe while still fulfilling the vision in Africa. We built a Poultry House in Busia, Kenya to help monetize the work. One vision well underway to completion…
THE SECOND – THE PNEUMA INSTITUTE
…for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Phil 2:13 NKJV
In the first and third visions, there were singular moments when the Lord spoke regarding the vision, as you saw with the schools and will see when I talk about the third vision. But not so with the PNEUMA INSTITUTE. The vision of the PNEUMA INSTITUTE began about five years ago when the Lord showed me the genius anointing. Why couldn’t the great problems of the world be solved by revelation? The genius anointing is a well-established reality in the Word. I wrote my whole dissertation on the subject. God has answers for everything, if we can develop the curiosity, imagination, perseverance and courage that foster the anointing. The PNEUMA INSTITUTE will have at least two great aspects – the training of Christian professionals to apply the gifts in their professional settings, and a team to develop a comprehensive theology of the Holy Spirit that embodies all we have learned and perceived. I’ve completed a twenty-month accelerated educational program to get the credentials necessary to begin the institute and am now working on a business plan. We will need land, buildings, and a business plan that makes the institute self-sustaining. The Lord is working the details right now…
THE THIRD – THE SEVEN DAY PROJECT
And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. Acts 19:10 NKJV
The heart reality of lost souls going to hell has burned in my spirit for years. Roughly, eighty two percent of the world’s population will go to hell unless something dramatic happens, a personal encounter with Jesus. The seven-day project aims to facilitate that engagement. This is how the vision came about…
Henry, who is an extraordinary house church leader, author and businessman, came to speak at one of our house church leaders gatherings in Nashville TN in 2022. Henry and I got to be friends! He told me of an amazing brother in the UK who had come to the USA to meet him and invite him to a small gathering of house church folks in a town outside of Liverpool in the UK. I asked if I could go with him because I felt that HS had something there for me…I didn’t know what! We went in the fall of 2023. As I walked through Heathrow airport, my heart was deeply grieved seeing the crowds and knowing that most, if not almost all – in the formerly Christian UK, only 2% are born again – of them would be going to hell, unless something dramatic happened. I got to lead the small conference in prayer for the lost, and we wept and prayed over the lost. The next day the Holy Spirit spoke to me as I sat alone in a coffee shop…
“If you had unlimited resources and time to prepare, could a whole nation be reached in seven days?” My response was, “Huh? What? You know, Lord!” Then He proceeded to show me how it could be done. He showed me a vision of an extremely popular pop singer. She is being filmed. She is sitting on a chair in a meadow with her guitar. She looks up and sings the first stanza of AMAZING GRACE, then looks right in the camera and says, Jesus Christ saved my life, and He can save yours. The clip is less than a minute long, but it goes out to all of her followers on social media continuously for a week. The week is Holy Week, the one week of the year when the world gives attention to Christianity, Palm Sunday Night through Easter Sunday Night. The wonder of the vision held me stunned for hours! It’s followed by contact details for interested followers. It goes viral! It has such profound effect that everyone is talking about it. The country is the UK. We have ministers stationed all over to reach the new responders with salvation, healing, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The newly saved reach their friends and form house churches. This goes on for five years. The pop singer later leads worship at Wembley Stadium outside London, as Joe and Collins prepare to preach…a whole nation having been touched!
That’s the vision! While the other two are at least in the formative stages of development, this one is ‘yet for an appointed time.’ You know, when I got the vision of ministering all over Africa in 1978, it was sixteen years before it began to come to pass…but it did come to pass! I got to meet the executive director of a major Christian social media influencer, and I explained the concept of the seven-day project to him. His ‘guy’ has six million followers (the pop singer has hundreds of millions, if they are all real), and he said my concept could work, with the right timing and preparation. Miracles would have to happen. We would have to get to the pop singer, get her saved and on board with the project, and then have the resources all of over the UK that when the seventy million Brits begin to cry out to God, we are ready to help them. Our God is able!
Once we have proved the concept, it could be replicated all over the world. We Christians are copycatters, and that’s a good thing! One time I watched Kenneth Copeland dynamically preach the Word and the Holy Spirit said, ‘You can preach like that!’ And, I have! The visions will be fulfilled. The way I understand that, if I or we drop the ball, the Lord will give it to someone else…but the world will miss the blessing that the original vision could have brought. Do you see that? We can be covered for if we fail to complete our work but not replaced. You are irreplaceable! This is what is in our hearts to do even as we replace Lightbearers ministry leadership this year. We want to get a younger generation working and developing our online training and other aspects of the ministry.
