The Devil’s foothold in the life of a Christian is unconfessed, unrepented of sin.
Sin gives the Devil authority to work in the world, the Church and the Christian. Eph. 4:26,27
The old nature of the child of God was executed at the cross. Eph. 2:3, Gal 2:20.
We are to reckon the old man dead. The old man – the old nature of the spirit of man. Romans 6:11-14
The soul and the body must be renewed. Romans 12:2, James 1:21.
The old nature of the spirit of man is disobedience. Romans 5:19 – its not in your nature to disobey god. You new nature – the way you are – is to obey god.
Make sin your enemy. Clean your house.
At the root of sin is the desire to be independent of god. 2 Cor. 10:3-6.
Sin will ruin your witness, your ministry and your life. Sin will keep you from the power of God.

Can a Christian be demonized?
We are rescued from the power of darkness – Col.1:12-14 – but if we continue to walk in sin, knowingly or unknowingly, we may need to be re-rescued.
Body and soul still vulnerable. Eph. 4:27, 1 Peter 5:8,9.
