Next weekend – Friday, Saturday and Sunday – we are taking three days to fast and pray before the Lord concerning our ongoing vision of planting schools in every nation, and our very specific meetings in Uganda, Sweden and Rwanda in November and December. Please plan to join us from wherever you are! On Tuesday, through an email here, I will release more specifics regarding the fast and prayer time with zoom links to join each day. We are seeking the Lord to help us break through in all these nations with the wonderful Word of God and power of His spirit. If you don’t hear anything else but this announcement, then fast and pray Friday through Sunday with us even if you are all alone. Together, we will see God’s power in every nation!

HUMILITY TO VICTORY
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate. Prov 8:13 NKJV
It doesn’t make any sense! The strong should always beat the weak, the fastest should always beat the slowest, the more wealthy should always prevail over the less wealthy. But it doesn’t always turn out like that, does it? Why? I’m currently reading the great book REVOLUTION by Eric Metaxas, a recounting of the salient events leading up to and through the American revolution in the 1760’s through the victory in 1783. Metaxas carefully points out the prevailing attitudes of the two adversaries – the British rulers with the greatest military in the world, and the American colonists with no military to start the war, just militias, who were demanding their independence. One was prideful, the other was humbly trusting in divine providence. The British had victory within their grasp time and time again only to lose it to providential miracles, and their own arrogance. The Brits relied on their empire, the Americans – inspired by the BLACK ROBE REGIMENT, their clergy – relied on God. Guess who won?
I and My Father (Heb. ABBA) are one.” John 10:30 NKJV
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. John 17:22-23 NKJV
Everything in your life and mine comes down to our relationship with ABBA. Money, marriage, career, health, wholeness, even car keys. In whatever category, in whatever matter, in whatever circumstance all is governed by the hand of the Lord. Let me explain. Let’s talk about healing, for instance. The Word declares that by His stripes we were healed. Regardless of the physical symptoms, which are very real, in God’s perspective the healing is already done. Now the key for the person needing healing is to connect with God on that level. When you make the connection, what ABBA says is already done becomes manifested. When I minister healing, all I’m trying to do is help that person connect with ABBA to receive the gift of healing. This is why Jesus spit on the ground, made clay and anointed the eyes of the blind man and told him to go was in the pool. THAT was what that man needed to help him connect with ABBA. When you connect with ABBA on whatever level or situation you have, prayers get answered and promises get fulfilled. This is why I tell people when they are faced with a crisis, to take three days and go connect with ABBA, hearing His voice and discerning His will because it all revolves around Him.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Rom 5:1-3 NKJV
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Cor 5:21NKJV
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Eph 2:4-7NKJV
The foundation of victory is in the finished work of Christ and in the application of the knowledge of who we are in Christ. The transformational work of Christ created a new race of men, filled with His spirit in their spirits and seated on thrones of authority at the right hand of the Almighty. A new race of mankind has been brought forth who are filled with the purity and righteousness of God Himself, who have been born from above into the family of the Master of the Universe, with all things under their feet. A new race of men and women initiated at Pentecost who are filled with the authority of Heaven and commissioned to reign as kings under the King of kings. That race is the one with Christ in them, the Christ-Ins, the true, born-again Christians. That’s you and me!
The foundation of victory has been laid in us.
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit… Jude 20 NKJV
You wish you had listened the first time! When my friend Pat came to visit me while I was in Bible college he remarked about how he was learning to pray in tongues for hours. Pat is a man of mighty signs and wonders. But I didn’t listen. The lesson wouldn’t come around again for seventeen more years. This time, I listened. But think of what could have been accomplished if I had listened the first time!
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:10 NKJV
The reason why we don’t listen is because we aren’t humble. I certainly wasn’t the first time around with Pat! The United States is the second most difficult place in the world to teach or preach the gospel, in my experience. You can’t impart to people who aren’t humble. You can have real answers to their greatest problems but they won’t receive, won’t listen, won’t hear. Some of the humblest people you will ever meet are in prison, because prison breaks you down. I’m always ready to hear someone talk about the gifts of the Spirit because I’m hungry to learn more. Humility positions yourself to receive more from ABBA! Are you listening?
The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. Ps 25:9 NKJV
Humility positions you to walk with boldness into the victory that He has already won for you. Humility without boldness is weakness. Boldness without humility is arrogance. We need both! Christ in you is the melding of the humble nature of the Lamb of God with the bold and fearless nature of the Lion of Judah. Boldness and humility is in you! You draw those resources out by the decisions you make.
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith. 1 John 5:4 NKJV
Victory is simple, but it is not always easy. It takes real work and patient commitment to rise up and overcome. The Americans declared independence on July 4th of 1776. But it took seven years to win that independence, and then it took eighty-two years, and a civil war, to establish those principles so plainly declared in the declaration of independence for all Americans. Freedom isn’t free, and victory is simple but not always easy. But we have the victory already won for us through the Cross and the Resurrection. All we must do now is position ourselves in humility under our King to walk out that victory in manifestation in every area of our lives. You can’t try to do this for an hour and then quit. It must be a lifestyle change. How do you know if you are praying enough? You know when the answers start to flow! Then you keep it up. Humility leads to victory! Amen? Love you!
