Your word is truth. John 17:17 NKJV

God is faithful to His Word. His Word is truth. Truth is not subjective, as in ‘my truth’, ‘your truth’ or any other similar construction. Truth is objective, is definable and absolute. Facts are not truth. Facts may have truth in them; but they are changeable, they are facts. Truth in all of its raw beauty is unchangeable and can be relied upon with utmost certainty. Truth is truth!

There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. 1 Kings 8:56-57 NKJV

In receiving revelation the great challenge is not to hear from God – He is speaking all the time – but to believe the words that He has spoken to you. Jesus said that to enter the kingdom you must become like a little child. A little child, if I they have been raised by diligent Christian parents will have an innocence and a sincerity that manifests in certain confidence. They just know that they will receive an answer to their prayers, and they do!

Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. Jer 15:16 NKJV

One of the great goals in discipleship is to get back to child-like innocence, to break off the strain of worldly unbelief, of worldly expectations, which are always lower, not higher than the word of God. This is accomplished by the immersion of oneself in the Word and the Spirit of God. If you read the word daily, and still worry, you are not reading the word enough, and you are letting other things come in and grab your attention. I saw a cartoon the other day where a man realized that to overcome fear he simply had to turn off the television. Turn off the television, social media, etc. Read the Word more each day. Simple answers to big headaches…and getting back to childlike innocence.

Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it. Mark 10:15 NKJV

Patience is the quiet confidence that says if I stay faithful, if I endure, God will bring His word to pass. Many of the promises of God are conditional promises, meaning you and I must meet the conditions set by God then He will meet you with the promised results. “If you can believe, all things are possible to those who believe.” ‘If you can believe’ is the condition. Meeting that condition is the great challenge, and childlike innocence helps you get there.

What has God shown you? What promises are you believing for? What will come to pass if you stay faithful, if you endure and believe?

And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”  1 Kings 17:1 NKJV

Imagine that! It just rained a few minutes ago here in the Sonoran desert of southern Arizona. Humidity in the desert can run at 10-15% which requires that everyone drink a lot of water even when it is cool. Elijah said that humidity would be 0% in the Israelite deserts which would be a virtual death sentence for all plants, insects and animals, and finally humans. This was the judgment of a God who is love for the heinous acts of Ahab and his people. That judgment could be mitigated or reversed if the people would repent, and Elijah would challenge the people to repent.

With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early;

For when Your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Isa 26:9 NKJV

This judgment was open ended in terms of time – we know it would last three and a half years before the final confrontation and the rainstorm – and Elijah had to persevere through it all. Each time a cloud appeared on the horizon, he had to point to it and say, “No, No, No…no rain from you, buddy!” This was not an easy walk for Elijah. He was a fugitive and the king’s government were looking for him everywhere. Love drives faith which manifests in perseverance. Elijah must have had a great love for God and His people. The question becomes, do we have the love to persevere until we receive the promises, until our goals are achieved, until the vision becomes reality?

What has God shown you? Two things that the Lord would have me work on are the Pneuma Institute and the Seven Day Project. The Pneuma Institute will perhaps be a for-profit organization to train brilliant born again ones to receive revelation in their area of expertise so they can bring God’s solutions to the practical problems faced in the world. They will bring the imagination, perseverance and passion and the Lord will meet them with genius level solutions, just like He did for Bezalel, Shadrack, Meshack, Abednego, Joseph, Solomon, David and many others in the Bible. I’m working this year to gain the credentials to lead such a project.

The Seven Day Project is something the Lord showed me in October of 2023 as I attended a conference outside of Liverpool in the UK. He said, “Could you reach a whole nation in seven days with the Gospel, if you had unlimited resources and time to prepare? How would you do it?” He proceeded to show me how social media influencers could release the same message at the right time and place and it would go viral and touch the whole nation, repeating continuously for seven days. We would have people in place all over the nation to handle the response, and our response would last over five years and involve house churches, and ministry centers.

I was lost in glory land for hours as I sat in a coffee shop, considering what He said. He showed me what’s-her-name sitting on a chair in a field with her guitar and she sings the first stanza of AMAZING GRACE, looking up. Then she looks at the camera with a big smile and says, “Jesus Christ saved my life, and He can save yours.” That’s the whole thing, less than a minute, and it goes out to millions of her followers. Maybe sixty others do the same thing at the same time, and tens of millions are blasted with the Gospel. Can you see it?

Here’s the clincher – we already have potential investors for both projects.

How do you persevere? First of all, you don’t rely on people. When I shared the vision of the seven day project with my traveling companions and others, they all laughed, except one guy, and his wife finally talked him out of it. People scorn out of fear and unbelief. But I saw it, and as I talked to knowledgeable folks in social media and related fields, they nodded their heads, saying YES, the concept is viable. But it’s the Spirit of God who must sustain your vision.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… Col 3:16 NKJV

How do you persevere? Take an honest, hard look at your faith habits. Most believers, even bishops, even what I call ‘professional Christians’ (I tell people tongue-in-cheek that I get paid to be a Christian) fail to read the Word even an hour a day. But we have plenty of time for faith-killers like facebook, instagram, tiktok, etc. Repent, dearly beloved one, and get in the Word!

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 1 John 3:21-22 NKJV

How do you persevere? George Muller raised millions of dollars for the Kingdom and never asked anyone for money. How did he do it? First of all, he absolutely believed that what he was doing was the will of God and would glorify God. Don’t belittle this point! True, ‘gut-scrubbed’ as my friend Dale would say, purity of heart must be at the root of all we do. You aren’t what you tell others you are, but what your heart tells you, you are. Your heart must confess that you are pure! Then, you pray. Muller prayed thousands of prayers. He specifically asked God to touch hearts to give to his work, and God touched thousands of hearts. You persevere because God gives you the resources to persevere!

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. James 5:17-18 NKJV

Elijah had an open-ended faith assignment. He did not know how long he would have to believe that there would be no dew or rain. How did he endure? It says that Moses endured as ‘seeing Him who was invisible.’ The key to patience, perseverance and faith is in your relationship with the Lord. Don’t be weary in well doing, because in due season you will reap, if you don’t quit. Amen? Love you!

Remember dear ones, we must be about our Father’s business…
