Dear Ones,

For those of you who are American citizens, Vote! Vote!! Vote!!! There is a curse of malaise and hopelessness over evangelical Christians that is causing them to be asleep and not vote! Come against this witchcraft and get in the game! Drag ten of your believing friends to the polls with you and vote for the best available candidate – not the Marxist! – and the best available circumstances! Vote and Pray!

Love you! KRP

IMPOSSIBLE? NO!

…For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37 NKJV

I had a predicament. My students were outshining the teacher! My students had raised over twenty people from the dead over twelve plus years and their teacher had not even one. What do you do in a situation like that? Go to a mortuary and ask to practice? We can practice prophetic evangelism and see wonderful results, but this requires a little more commitment on the part of our subjects. So, what do you do? You ask God to open a door for you to minister in one of these situations. Such a door opened in 2019!

In the above picture which was taken this week you see Joseph who has twin daughters with his mother and Apostle Dr. Frank Michael Tweheyo. In 2019, Joseph was dead, lying in a Kampala hospital the victim of a gunshot wound. His distraught mother had just been informed by the hospital to come pick up the body. She would have to make a nine-hour trip from Kabale to Kampala to reach the hospital. She called her pastor, Apostle Frank, who called me. I said, “This is wrong. Let’s raise him from the dead!” The Spirit of God fell on us and we began to pray fervently. When the anointing lifted, we ceased praying. I didn’t think much about it until I got a text from Frank some weeks later saying the mother had gone to the hospital and found her son alive. Glory to Jesus! He had vindicated His teacher!

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matt 10:8-9 NKJV

The hospital had called, the doctors had pronounced him dead. This is surely a hopeless situation, correct? No. No word of God is void of power, which is the literal translation of Luke 1:37. The power of God that created the heavens and the earth is available to be called upon to meet your need. Consider our next story…

Javier should be dead, but he obviously isn’t. This picture was taken at the company Christmas party AFTER the situation described below. Javier is one of the foremen for Peter’s company and had been a faithful employee since the days they were pouring concrete backyards. Peter called me and said, “Javier is going to die!” I said, “We’ll see about that!” This was in December of 2020. I got the emergency prayer team involved. We have two prayer teams – one I contact by email and one I contact by text. The text team is the emergency team. They have ‘saved my bacon’ many times. One time we broke down in the middle of the night in Benin, halfway between Parakou and the capitol city of Cotonou. I texted the emergency team, and within thirty minutes the Landcruiser was fixed and we traveled on to Cotonou. They know God!

…but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Dan 11:32 NKJV

The emergency team went to war for Javier for four months. At one point, one of the intercessors, Sam, discerned that Javier had been told twice that he would die. Javier was on a ventilator, and 85% of the people on ventilators for Covid died. She cancelled the prescription of death against Javier by the blood of the Lamb. Indeed, Javier confirmed later that he had been told, by a nurse and by a doctor, on separate occasions, that he would die. Dr. Jesus overruled the doctors of men! Such was an impossible situation, correct? NO SIR! NO, NO, NO!

This one is special to me because I will see them for their seventh birthday next month in Kampala. It was 2015, and I was speaking in the annual conference of Apostle Tweheyo in Kabale UG. One afternoon the man of God came to me and explained with tears in his eyes how he and his wife had gone twenty years without having a child. I tried to encourage him, but had nothing until God spoke to me on the way back to my room. Remember, no word of God is void of power. With God nothing will be impossible. As I went back to the room, He said, “I am going to give them children, and you are to walk with them through the process.” I knew exactly what He meant. He reminded me that some years before back in Ogden, Utah, we had ministered to another couple who was barren, Tony and Connie, and they had twins. The Tweheyos would have twins!

For two years we walked together holding on to this promise. The Tweheyos were almost fifty, well past the usual childbearing years, and there were medical challenges. They had tried for twenty years, and endured much pressure and ridicule from the community. Impossible? NO SIR! On November Tenth 2017, almost two years after the promise, when Phobice went to have the babies,  the prayer team and I prayed through the process. The results rocked the nation of Uganda. Their story – without mention of me or the team, thankfully – was featured prominently in the national newspaper, on television and radio, and launched a ministry for Phobice that has now resulted in about a dozen babies being born to otherwise barren couples. Glory to Jesus!

How do you turn the impossible into possible? By the word of God. But how do you receive that word? Imagination is a function of the soul that prepares the heart to receive revelation. For years I imagined myself raising someone from the dead. For years Frank Michael and Phobice had imagined themselves with children, especially twins. When Frank traveled, she prepared two bags of children’s clothes and would sleep with them like they were her babies. She would even wash the clothes and hang them on the line when the neighbors weren’t looking. She was building her faith and preparing to receive the RHEMA word of God, that finally came through me, bless God forever.

Impossible? NO SIR! As long as you draw breath there is hope, and even after you can no longer draw breath, there is hope. One story I heard from one of my students was of a dear ninety-six-year-old woman who didn’t want to die. Jim was out evangelizing when she died. She told her children, “I am dying, I can fight no longer. But when Jim comes back, have him raise me.” Sure enough! He came home three days later, went to the mortuary where her body lay – this wasn’t practice! – and commanded the spirit of death to come off her and she came alive again. Impossible? No sir!

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.

They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. Lam 3:22-23 NKJV

In Lightbearers we have projects developing that men say are impossible, but we are just going to do them anyway. Dear one, let’s throw off the old unbelieving paradigms and prescriptions of men and start to believe that He can do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that works in us. His mercies are new every morning, and since the earth is round, its always morning somewhere! Amen? Love you!

Remember, dear ones, we must be about our Father’s business…
